About North Baldwin Utilities

Welcome to North Baldwin Utilities - a municipally-owned Water, Wastewater and Natural Gas utility. NBU was organized by the City of Bay Minette in 1945 under the name of The Water Works Board of the Town of Bay Minette. In 1949, the name was changed to The Water Works and Gas Board of the Town of Bay Minette to reflect the addition of natural gas services. The name changed again in 1951 to The Utilities Board of the City of Bay Minette. A final change to the name occurred in April of 2005.
